We are seeking a warm, attentive, and highly professional Waiter/Waitress (Server) to join our team. In this role, you will be the heart of the guest experience, responsible for guiding customers through our menu, delivering high-quality service, and ensuring every dining visit is memorable. Key Responsibilities
Guest Service Excellence: Provide a warm welcome to guests, manage reservations, and guide them through our menu offerings with comprehensive knowledge of ingredients and preparation.
Order Management: Accurately record guest orders, communicate special dietary requirements to the kitchen, and ensure timely and precise delivery of food and beverages.
Table Maintenance: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the dining area, ensuring tables are set correctly, cleared promptly, and reset for incoming guests.
Beverage & Menu Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage pairings, effectively upselling and answering guest inquiries with confidence.
Point-of-Sale Proficiency: Handle transactions accurately using POS systems, process payments, and ensure all checks are closed correctly at the end of each service.
Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate service flow, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency during peak periods.
Safety & Sanitation: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines and food hygiene practices, to ensure a safe dining environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; previous certification in hospitality or food service is a plus.
Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in a restaurant or fast-paced hospitality setting is preferred, though we value a strong service-oriented attitude above all else.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with modern POS systems and reservation software (e.g., OpenTable, Toast, Resy).
Knowledge of standard table service etiquette and food/beverage service techniques.
Basic understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service regulations.
Personal Attributes:
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle guest requests with grace and patience.
High energy, multitasking capabilities, and the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and enthusiastically.
A reliable team player who is flexible with working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
