JOB DESCRIPTION: Account Executive / Account Manager (Agency)
Job Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships by providing exceptional service and proactive communication.
Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with internal creative, media, and production teams to develop comprehensive campaign strategies that meet client business objectives and marketing goals.
Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end execution of agency projects, from the initial brief to final delivery. Ensure projects stay on scope, on time, and on budget.
Briefing & Coordination: Translate client needs into clear, actionable creative briefs for internal teams. Ensure the team understands the project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Commercial Growth: Identify opportunities to grow client accounts through upsell and cross-sell initiatives. Present new ideas, platform opportunities, and creative solutions to improve client performance.
Financial Oversight: Oversee project budgets, billing, and invoicing. Ensure client satisfaction while maintaining agency profitability and resource efficiency.
Performance Reporting: Lead client meetings and presentations. Analyze campaign data to provide clear, insightful updates on performance and strategic recommendations for future improvements.
Conflict Resolution: Act as the internal advocate for the client and the external advocate for the agency. Proactively navigate potential challenges, scope creep, or feedback loops to ensure a smooth partnership.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience:
Account Executive (AE): 1–3 years of agency experience.
Account Manager (AM): 3–6+ years of agency experience with a proven track record of managing complex accounts.
Technical Skills:
Strong familiarity with E-commerce, Digital Marketing, and Advertising ecosystems.
Proficiency in Project Management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and presentation tools (PowerPoint/Keynote).
Understanding of Marketing KPIs (ROAS, CTR, CAC, Engagement, etc.) and the ability to explain them to non-technical stakeholders.
Soft Skills:
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to simplify complex ideas.
Emotional Intelligence: Ability to read the room, handle difficult client conversations with grace, and build trust.
Organizational Skills: Meticulous approach to managing multiple client accounts, deadlines, and internal processes.
