We are seeking an experienced, leadership-driven QA Analyst/Tester to lead our quality assurance initiatives and maintain the highest standards of software reliability, performance, and user satisfaction. In this senior role, you will oversee the full testing lifecycle, from strategic test planning and automated framework development to manual exploratory testing and defect management. If you have strong team leadership skills, deep knowledge of modern QA methodologies, and a passion for operational excellence and robust software, this is an outstanding opportunity to shape the quality standards and release confidence of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, motivate, and evaluate the QA team, including manual testers, automation engineers, and performance specialists.
Standards & Quality Control: Establish and enforce high testing standards, documentation protocols, and defect tracking processes; conduct regular quality audits and sign-off reviews.
Operations Planning: Develop and manage testing roadmaps, release schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery within tight sprint cycles.
Resource & Budget Management: Control costs for testing tools, cloud-based device farms, test environment infrastructure, and third-party QA services; manage vendor relationships.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to integrate quality-first practices into the SDLC and foster a culture of shared responsibility.
Training & Development: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on test automation frameworks, bug reporting best practices, and new QA technologies; mentor team leads.
Compliance & Reliability: Ensure full adherence to industry-specific quality standards, security requirements, and internal corporate governance guidelines.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepare reports on defect density, test coverage, and release readiness; implement innovative quality-engineering methodologies (e.g., TDD, BDD) and CI/CD testing integration.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. ISTQB or other recognized QA certifications are highly desirable.
Experience: 5–10+ years in software testing or quality assurance, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership, senior, or managerial capacity. Experience in enterprise-grade software environments is highly desirable.
Technical & Management Skills:
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Experience with API testing, performance/load testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Proven ability to lead high-performing testing teams, manage complex release cycles, and optimize overall QA operational efficiency.
Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
High attention to detail with a focus on product stability and user experience.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high-stakes releases in a dynamic environment.
