JOB DESCRIPTION: Delivery & Dispatch Coordinator (Nhân viên Giao nhận hàng)
Job Responsibilities
Order Processing: Receive and verify delivery orders, prepare delivery schedules, and organize daily dispatch plans to ensure timely distribution of goods.
Shipment Coordination: Organize, assign, and monitor delivery routes for drivers or third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Delivery Monitoring: Track shipments in real-time to ensure on-time delivery; proactively communicate any delays or issues to the warehouse, sales, or customer service teams.
Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain essential shipping documents, including Delivery Notes (DN), Invoices, Proof of Delivery (POD), and carrier receipts, ensuring all are signed and filed accurately.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all goods are transported in accordance with safety regulations and company policies, paying special attention to fragile or hazardous items.
Issue Resolution: Handle transit-related issues, such as delivery failures, customer complaints, or damaged goods, by coordinating prompt investigations and corrective actions.
Cost & Performance Reporting: Monitor transportation costs, fuel usage, and delivery performance metrics; prepare reports for management to optimize logistics operations.
Partner Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for external transporters, couriers, and customers to ensure smooth information flow and service consistency.
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma, vocational training, or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in delivery coordination, logistics, or transportation operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience using Logistics Management or ERP systems.
Strong ability to use GPS/navigation tools and route-planning applications.
Geographic Knowledge: Good understanding of local geography, traffic patterns, and efficient delivery routing.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to manage interactions with drivers, internal departments, and customers.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet to resolve unforeseen transit issues or delivery bottlenecks quickly.
Organization: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple delivery tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
